Wayne is an attorney and long-time resident of Lincoln County. He recently retired as Lincoln County’s Legal Counsel after more than 35 years, although he continues working part time on county projects and as a pro tem municipal judge. During his illustrious career, he was active with the Government Law Section of the Oregon State Bar, the Oregon County Counsels’ Association, the Oregon Coast Council for the Arts, and the United Way. He is still active with Legal Aid Services of Oregon, the Oregon Law Center, the Emergency Food and Shelter Program, and more. He was instrumental in establishing the county’s Lincoln Land Legacy Program, which facilitates development of conservation easements. Wayne enjoys spending time with his spouse and pets, engaging in myriad outdoor activities, following the vibrant local arts community, and puttering (a newfound passion).
