Susan elizabeth reese painter

Susan is a native of Western Pennsylvania. She earned her law degree from Harvard University, and has been a defense attorney for over 50 years. Susan is a life member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the NationalAssociation of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She wrote regular columns for The Oregon Defense Attorney, OCDLA’s quarterly magazine for over 35 years, and the organization honored her with its Lifetime Achievement Award. She is active on many local boards, including Atonement Lutheran Church, Newport Symphony Orchestra, Eureka Cemetery, Friends of Yaquina Lighthouses, and the City of Newport’s Airport Advisory Committee.
