Off the Beaten Path

Yakona Nature Preserve & Learning Center offers visitors opportunities to hike through a native coastal fog belt forest. There are over five miles of nature trails winding around the contours of the land. Four bridges span seasonal streams allowing exploration of forest, estuary and tidal flats all within a few hours. Viewpoints onto Yaquina Bay invite respite and contemplation.
