Nick Marrant comes to Yakona with a rich background in forestry, construction, and managing large properties here in Oregon and in Costa Rica. He graduated from Willamette University in Studio Arts, which influences his approach to land management. He is an active community organizer and volunteer, involving himself in outdoor school, farmer's markets, eco-tourism, and facilitating community projects at home and abroad. Nick enjoys wild harvesting, riding waves, and exploring nature with his family.
