Joe Kertis

Joe spent much of his youth exploring the Oregon Coast as an avid forager and steelhead angler, developing a passion for conservation at an early age. As the son of JoAnn and stepson to Bill, he has been immersed in Yakona Nature Preserve since its inception. Joe graduated from Newport High School in 2001, going on to study Psychology at the University of Oregon. His career in behavioral health is emblematic of his commitment to improving outcomes for people from all walks of life. Joe is a proud father to Greyson Kertis.
