Stitching with Leaves: Using Nature in Embroidery and Collage
Students will learn basic embroidery techniques and use stitching and collage to create art pieces that include leaves and other finds from nature. Piecing together leaves and other found objects allows participants to explore their familiar ecosystem in an unfamiliar way and gain more intimate knowledge of the natural elements that surround us in our daily lives.
